Crystal Chakra Balancing Practitioner Diploma Course
Cost: £175
If you don’t feel the need for a full crystal healing course but would like to be able to use crystals for balancing your clients’ chakras and providing a relaxing, beneficial treatment, this could be the course for you! The one day’s training will give students background information about the chakras and appropriate crystals to use with them, as well as plenty of practical experience in dowsing the chakras and using crystals, pendulums and wands to balance them.
Ayurvedic Hand and Arm Massage Practitioner Diploma Course
Duration: 10 hours

Originally developed at the request of Carers’ Resource to provide a professional qualification accessible to carers, this course is idea for beginners or people working with the elderly.
The course provides intensive professional training in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Students are provided with a comprehensive manual and a session on professional practicalities and background to the treatment, although most of the emphasis is on practical training. Assessment is practical, with a verbal test to ensure the student’s comprehension. If any student has not reached the required standard on the day, they will be invited to return to re-sit the course free of charge within one month: after that, the course must be paid for again.
Indian (Ayurvedic) Head Massage
Duration: 10 hours

This Ayurvedic take on the ever-popular Indian head massage includes elements from the Indian medicine system which enhance the treatment and also provide an element of personalisation depending on the client’s dosha. Indian massage techniques and a marma point massage for energy balance plus the neck and shoulder massage so necessary for tight Westerners combine to create a treatment that brings profound relaxation to the client.

Swedish Back Massage
Duration: 24 hours
Cost: £225
This is a “stand-alone” course for those interested in learning a back massage. without the expense of a full body massage course. The treatment is wonderful for relaxing clients, addressing stiff shoulders and aching backs, and is a great addition to the therapist’s repertoire. 6 case studies are required for successful completion of the course.

Thai Foot Massage
Duration: 10 hours
Cost: £210 (including a Thai massage stick)
Traditional Thai Foot Massage is a very popular modality, offering as it does the experience of a different massage from the usual Swedish or other Western style. A vigorous yet relaxing massage of the feet and legs, it incorporates the use of a traditional Thai massage stick (included in the cost) to provide reflexology style acupressure points work and to stimulate the reflexes on the feet. It is a great therapy for clients who are on their feet a lot, or anyone with stiff and aching leg muscles.

One day courses are taught with a maximum of 2 students. Times can be a little flexible but normally we run from 9.30am to 5.30pm (at the latest). I am happy to teach one to one but the student may occasionally be asked to bring a model with them.
